After going back and forth between the JD 2210 and the Kubota 2230, I finally decided on the JD 2210. The tractor comes tomorrow. We have a new house and lots of dirt to move. Should be a great weekend. Thanx for all your input and advise from this forum.

Really, what it came down to for me was the dealer. The closest Deere dealer to me is less than 5 mils, but he didn't seem overly interested in my business. The dealer 20 mi away, however, was outstanding. Since they didnt have the 2210 on the lot with a loader, he contact one of his recent customers who bought the same basic package that I was looking at, brought me to this customer's house where the customer showed me the tractor and let me drive it and work the loader a bit. Guess he really wanted my business.

Hi tnttommy,
I had a similar experience in my search for a sub-compact. The Deere dealer did the same for me and Kubota dealer brought a BX1830 with MMM and FEL out for a weekend to try. The New Holland dealer arranged to pickup a previously sold unit and show it to me at his site. I opted for the NH TZ24 because of the dealer, dealer proximity and price. I think they're all great little machines.

Enjoy your new toy! ....

Tommy, Congrats! I got my 2210 two months ago and I can't say enough good things about it! My FEL works great. But the real surprise was the Box Blade I bought too. What a tool! If you are moving dirt, this would work terrific. Now I'm waiting for my tiller to come in. Heck, I even take mine out to get the mail!

Until you run out of dirt which is what happened to me but I solved that by digging 2 drainage ditches.
Now I have twice as much dirt as I had when I first got my bx23 and that was a bunch..
